The history of the Château de Briançon dates back to the 11th century when the eponymous family settled there. Over the centuries, this private estate underwent numerous transformations. In 1941, it was acquired by the La Résidence Sociale association and became a shelter for orphaned children from Paris. Since 2013, it has operated as a hotel while remaining true to its social mission: every stay contributes to innovative projects supporting individuals with disabilities, guided by the association.
The Château de Briançon is a haven where guests can fully embrace the surrounding nature. The estate’s 11-hectare park is perfect for walks or hikes. On the second floor, a lounge area offers a relaxing spot to admire views of the church spires in the village of Cornillé-les-Caves and the picturesque landscape.
